The Salter Room
Named after Dr. Paul Pullen Salter Sr. (who owned the home for over 50 years), this spacious room on the first floor features a king-sized bed and private ensuite bathroom complete with premium towels and toiletries.
The Shorter Room
Enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in a king-size bed with premium linens or relax in the private ensuite bathroom - complete with a full-size tub and shower. Stay in touch with the outside world with complimentary Wifi and streaming services on our flat screen TVs.

House Rules
To receive our Best Available Rate at any time of year, we recommend booking directly with us via our website, or over the phone. Oftentimes we require 2-night minimum stays during the “peak season” or during local special events, but we’ll occasionally make exceptions. Call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your travel schedule!
A deposit equivalent to one night stay is taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance is applied the morning of arrival.
Every reservation we receive is important and special to us. We take great care in preparing for your arrival – from room preparation to creating a breakfast menu suited to your dietary needs. We sincerely appreciate each reservation we receive! It means we’ve committed to have your room ready and available upon your arrival.
While we understand that life isn’t always predictable and that plans change, we do request that you contact us no less than 7 (seven) days prior to your check-in date to let us know of your changes. At that time, your deposit will be refunded, less a $20 cancellation fee. Any reservation updates and/or cancellations received less than 7 (seven) days prior to your check-in date will result in the loss of your deposit.
Check-in – We look forward to greeting you between 4PM and 7PM on the day of your arrival.
Check-out – 11AM on the date of departure.
If you are unable to arrive during our standard check-in time, please be sure to contact us ahead of time so that we can make other arrangements. We do not offer late check-outs.
Quiet time is from 10 PM until 7 AM. You are free to come and go but please keep the noise down as a courtesy for to other guests and owners. Always make sure to lock the door when entering or leaving the B&B.
The Baker Street Bed & Breakfast home, front porch, and gardens are smoke-free. Guests may use the private parking lot as the designated smoking area. A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed should a guest choose to smoke indoors.
To ensure the comfort of all our guests, we are unable to accommodate pets.
